Midsummer along Inlandsbanan

Midsummer is celebrated in the small towns along Inlandsbanan. Here are some tips if you are traveling with us this midsummer, visiting Sweden's beautiful inland.

At midsummer (Friday 22 June 2018) the Swedes celebrate the summer solstice. The lightest night of the year, where we sleep with 7 different wild flowers under the pillow and dream about our partner to be. A day when we put flowers in our hair, dance around the maypole and eat traditional food such as sill, fresh potatoes and strawberries.
